A “fierce but friendly” rivalry is the driving force behind one of Feed More’s most anticipated fundraisers: The Hokies vs ‘Hoos Food Fight! Now in its 20th year, the Food Fight pits alumni and friends of Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia against each other to see which team can raise the most funds for Feed More.

The UVA Club of Richmond and the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association coordinate the competition. But this competition is just as much a battle against hunger in Central Virginia as a battle between the two teams.

This year’s contest will take place starting on Monday, February 19th and end on Sunday, March 10th. The kick off event will be at HomeTeam Grill in the Fan on Monday the 19th at 7:00 pm. Online donations will be available starting on that day and go through March 10th. The winner will be determined by the highest number of points collected during that time frame.
