    • iScholars is an experiential learning program that prepares Virginia Tech students for the working world by having them do real projects for real companies. Virginia Tech partners with employers, help them scope projects that can be done by an interdisciplinary team of students in a one credit class, and provide structure and guidance for the team while they conduct weekly client calls with you. Virginia Tech also offers opportunities for you to engage with students in class or via professional development bootcamps that prepare iScholars to be successful in their internship and job searches. If you wished you’d had a program like this as an undergraduate, Virginia Tech would love to give you more details about how you can get your company interested in partnering.

Online networking enables you to speed-network no matter where you are in the world. You can sign in from your desktop, smartphone or tablet. The one-on-one chats are text-based and timed, allowing you to end the hour with several new connections you didn’t have before.  A transcript of your conversations will be saved for you to access after each event, so you can look back at your chat history, review your notes, and follow up!

You will be randomly paired for several 8-minute text-based chats that will allow you to make industry connections.

We look forward to having you join us for this unique opportunity to connect with Hokies around the world.
