Reading is Priceless Book Drive!

Hey Richmond Hokies!

Matt Davidson, one of our Richmond Hokie Alum, is currently assisting Mary Paige, a current VT student, with a summer community service project and asked us to help out! Matt and Mary Paige are collecting gently used and new books to donate to Prices Fork Elementary and Christiansburg Elementary until October 3rd, 2020. The goal is to help students with reading deficiency by providing books for them to take home, read, and share with friends and family members. We would love your help with this!

With in-person instruction suspended, teachers predict that students will need a lot of reading support to prevent falling far behind reading on grade level. Many students in the Title I schools do not have the resources to own many books themselves and access to libraries has been limited. By collecting these books, we can help provide more reading resources to these students.

To donate, please contact Matt at matt@logomd.com to coordinate a pickup or drop off spot in the Richmond area. Matt will then take the books to Blacksburg.

*To ensure proper sanitation, please wipe down all donated books with antibacterial wipes before donating.*
