1) Is the FAFSA required?

Yes, EFC (Expected Family Contribution) from SAR (Student Aid Report) (must be a PDF)

2) May I include a letter of recommendation?

Yes (must be a PDF)

3) What if I live in Central Virginia but attend a magnet school outside of area?

You must be graduating from a high school in the Richmond metropolitan area including the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Goochland, Powhatan, New Kent, and Charles City.

4) When is the application period?

March 1st through May 1st each year

5) Are transcripts required?

Yes, transcripts through the last completed semester prior to application date (must be a PDF)

6) What is the VT Program Of Study (letter code)?

They are codes that represent majors,minors etc

7) What is my VT application Number?

This number was emailed to you by VT Admissions once your application was submitted

8) When will awardees be notificed?

Typically, they will notified by the end of May

9) How is the scholarship disbursed?

Normally, the scholarship is credited to your VT account in 2 payments.  Half in the fall semester and Half in the spring semester.

10) Does the Chapter accept paper applications?

No, 2017 was the last year that paper applications were accepted.
