Join fellow Virginia Tech alumni, friends and fans as we celebrate the new Fightin’ Hokies Lager during our Welcome to the City Event at Hardywood West Creek! We’re celebrating in-person events again in addition to welcoming all new grads and new alumni to the Richmond region.

Brewed in collaboration between Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, one of the top programs of its kind nationwide, and the international award-winning Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Fightin’ Hokies Lager is a tribute to the fighting spirit that unites us. Virginia Tech and Hardywood share a history of giving back, environmental stewardship, and the pursuit of excellence. Their partnership has culminated in a beer of unparalleled quality, brewed in Virginia with renewable resources.

Your registration fee grants you admission to the celebration, along with a special commemorative glass. For every paid registrant, a $5 donation will be made to benefit Food Science and Technology student scholarships and expand research.
