Mark your calendars! The Strawberry Hill Races are here again on Saturday, June 2nd from 10am-8pm!

The Young Alumni of the Richmond Hokies will be doing our 4th annual tailgate at the races on the University Green. Tickets are $65 and are all-inclusive. They include bus transportation to and from the track, entry ticket to the races, access to our exclusive tailgate, and all you can eat and drink for the day (includes beer, liquor, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and grilled foods)!

If you have your own transportation, there is a tailgate-only ticket price of $35. Visit Strawberry Hill Races to purchase your ticket to the races separately.

Ticket sales are expected to end Sunday, May 20th.

There are no physical tickets. Your name will be on a list at bus check-in the day of the event. You must be 21 years or older to attend. You do NOT need to be a VT Alum to attend, so invite all of your friends!

**Pick-up location: Buses will be leaving Colonial Downs OTB at 10:15am so please arrive between 9:45 and 10:00 to load. The address for the OTB is 4700 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA. There is a large parking lot behind the OTB off of Maywill Street; park in the very back of this lot along the fence. The person who purchased the tickets will need to be there to check-in and everyone will need to get a wrist band before loading the bus. YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS ON THE BUS IF YOU WANT; we will not be serving anything on the bus ride there.**

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association – Richmond Chapter is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Virginia Tech Police Officer Deriek Crouse on Thursday, December 8, 2011. On behalf of the 14,000+ Virginia Tech alumni across the Richmond area, our unconditional Hokie love and support goes out to his family, friends, and fellow Virginia Tech Police Department officers.

We’re humbled yet proud to announce that we have raised over $13,000.00, so our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all of you who made a contribution to the Officer Crouse Memorial Fund.
