Jul"Hokies Helping Hokies" Business & Career Networking Group Date: 07/17/13 Time: 7:15 AM Where: VT Richmond Center - 3rd Floor Details: This is a BUSINESS as well as CAREER networking group for Richmond area Virginia Tech alumni who are interested in engaging other Hokies for business and employment opportunities. There is a $5.00 charge to attend except if you are in career transition. Bring your business cards, business literature, lists of job openings, and résumés! If you are planning on attending, please register by e-mailing Rick Curry at networking@richmondhokies.org or calling (804)454-HOKIE. The meeting attire is business casual. Networking begins at 7:15 A.M., and the meeting will be from 7:45 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. If you would like to promote your business at our Hokies Helping Hokies meeting but cannot attend, we are looking for door prizes. If you have a product or service you would like to promote consider donating a door prize for our new monthly drawings. 19
JulVirginia Tech Family Day at The Diamond Date: 07/19/13 Time: 6:00 PM Where: The Diamond Details: The Richmond Flying Squirrels will be hosting a Virginia Tech Family Day at The Diamond when they play the Bowie Baysox. ALL Richmond area Virginia Tech alumni, current students, incoming freshmen, and family members are invited and encouraged to attend! Virginia Tech head football coach Frank Beamer will also be in attendance to throw out the first pitch, and the Flying Squirrels will also be giving away a Frank Beamer bobble head to the first 2,000 fans through the front gates who are 15 and older. Gates open at 6:00pm and the game starts at 7:05pm. BE SURE TO WEAR YOUR HOKIE COLORS!!! Virginia Tech Family Day at The Diamond
FRIDAY, JULY 19, 2013
The Richmond Flying Squirrels will be hosting a Virginia Tech Family Day at The Diamond when they play the Bowie Baysox. ALL Richmond area Virginia Tech alumni, current students, incoming freshmen, and family members are invited and encouraged to attend! Virginia Tech head football coach Frank Beamer will also be in attendance to throw out the first pitch, and the Flying Squirrels will also be giving away a Frank Beamer bobble head to the first 2,000 fans through the front gates who are 15 and older. Gates open at 6:00pm and the game starts at 7:05pm.

TICKET OPTIONS: (Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, July 8.)
~ Pre-game Tailgate Party Ticket: $25.00 each (LIMITED QUANTITY OF 250. Includes pre-game admission to the ORC Pavilion with an all-you-can-eat buffet, one (1) Frank Beamer bobble head, one (1) game admission ticket for Diamond Club seating, and “All Access” to the Kids Play Zone. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for adults 21 and older.)
~ Diamond Club: $10.00 each (Reserved seating located on the lower level of the ballpark.)
~ Silver Reserved: $7.00 each (Reserved seating located in the upper deck.)
~ General Admission Seat: $5.00 each (First come, first served seating in the Gold Level.)
